How do you say Csster?
Pronounce it “sister”, just like the original name. Write it Csster with a capital C and the trailing underscore.
How does free copying work?
The first copy is immediate. Each successful free copy starts a 60-second cooldown shared across tabs in that browser profile. You can keep inspecting and previewing while you wait. There is no daily limit; restarting the browser does not reset the timer. Waiting never changes your clipboard.
What does a lifetime license include?
A $10 one-time purchase unlocks unlimited copying with no cooldown and includes free lifetime upgrades. You can activate two browser installations. Each browser profile counts as an installation. Deactivate an old browser online to release its slot.
How do I activate my license?
Find your key on your order page. Open the Csster popup, expand “Have a license key?”, and activate it with an internet connection. Paid access can work offline for up to 30 days after successful online validation.
Can Csster inspect every page?
Use Csster on ordinary web pages in Chrome or Edge. Browser settings, extension pages, and browser stores are restricted. Local files require “Allow access to file URLs”. Inspection runs in the main frame; content inside cross-origin frames is unavailable.
Will the copied snippet reproduce the whole site?
Csster focuses on the selected element’s HTML and styling. It does not copy application behavior or JavaScript. Available author rules and computed styles determine the output; cross-origin stylesheets can restrict rule access. Review snippets and their dependencies in your own project, and respect the source creator’s rights.
Does my page content leave the browser?
Inspection runs locally when you activate Spy Mode. Csster does not send inspected page content to the licensing service and has no telemetry or advertising. License activation and checks contact FlashVenom with activation details such as your license key, generated installation ID, app ID, and extension version. Free copying uses a local cooldown without network quota checks. If you explicitly Ctrl/Cmd+click the center button to export to CodePen, the selected HTML and CSS are sent to CodePen to open an unsaved editor. Scripts are excluded, and no Pen is automatically saved or published.
Can I use the keyboard?
Ctrl+Shift+S is the default Spy Mode shortcut; change it in your browser’s extension shortcut settings. Use arrow keys to navigate elements, Enter or Space to open the copy menu, and arrows or Tab to choose a mode. Press Escape to close the menu, then Escape again to leave inspection.
